EXCELLENTVerified Old world villa with modern amenities awaits you to settle in, relax and find peace in a slice of paradise. ☺ Such a graceful home with amazing views and a complete sense of comfort and tranquility. Great kitchen, AC was great, laundry, great showers, and a beautiful terrace. Villa is in a great location. Not too busy to relax and be on vacation but sighing walking distance to restaurants, the ferry, Villa Carlotta, and even Tremezzo was not to far for a morning walks take the secret path to the gate by the little chapel to save time getting down to the waterfront. You will know you are there when the man on the balcony at the house on the corner yells Caio!. There were so great local restaurants especially Restaurante Belli Ille. Take the 10 minute ferry to Bellagio running every 1/2 hour or so for a few dollars per person round trip. We never used a car here. This villa had it all. The owners and the local helper Dina were so great! So helpful and very quick replies for any inquiries. LOVE LOVE LOVED our stay here. Highly recommended. ☹ The steps back up to the villa can a bit steep. Be sure you can handle them or just take the long way around the road.Posted onVerified Beautiful ☺ Gorgeous villa, perfect for a family unit. Photos don’t do the villa justice. We loved being located in Griante as it is quieter than the busier Bellagio and Verenna but still a quick ferry ride over to see these towns for dinner / day trip. The small restaurants in Griante are a short walk away and super affordable with good Italian food 🙏 ☹ Some of the bedroom and bathroom doors didn’t close properly and needed to be held shut by a bag, etc. for privacy. Not an issue however as we were visiting as a family.Posted onVerified Excellent villa with lots of space ☺ Fabulous villa with everything you could want available. The 'secret' gate at the end of the garden through the church is worth knowing about as it makes getting to the little shop and the excellent local restaurants very easy. The terrace is lovely. ☹ Needing to wait for someone to come to ‘checkout' seemed unnecessarily fiddly. Not anyone’s fault but the huge building works and cranes taking up a lot of the view are worth knowing about. They weren’t intrusive other than breaking the view but not sure we’d have rented if we knew about them, or at least would like to have known to make n informed decision.Posted onVerified The hostess was exceptional.
